Every class has a size of 2 - 6 students per teacher, allowing for focused guidance and personalized support to help each student build confidence and improve their English skills.
Each English tuition class for Primary 5 & 6 and Secondary 1 & 2 lasts 2 hours, ensuring sufficient time for learning and guidance.
Classes are conducted in small groups, with each class comprising a limited number of students. This approach allows for focused instruction and ensures that each student receives individual support tailored to their unique learning needs.
In small groups, students' progress can be closely monitored and they can receive individual feedback. The lessons are structured to be interactive and engaging, encouraging active participation from all students. This supportive environment helps students improve their English confidently and efficiently.
i) Procedure for Reporting Absence
If your child is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, please notify us as soon as possible. Timely communication helps us manage class arrangements and ensures that all students receive the necessary support.

Tuition fees for a missed lesson are only refundable if one of the following original documents is submitted within three working days:
· Medical Certificate: A valid medical certificate must be provided if your child is unable to attend due to illness.

Classes are held once a week, with each session lasting two hours.
For the latest class timings, please refer to the schedule section.
No classes are held on public holidays or the eve of Chinese New Year. There are no make-up classes, and tuition fees are not charged for these dates.
At English Star Tuition, we understand that choosing the right learning environment is important for every student. To help new students make an informed decision, we offer a paid trial lesson. This provides an opportunity for first-time students to experience one of our classes before enrolling in regular sessions.
While the trial lesson offers a glimpse into our teaching style and classroom atmosphere, we highly recommend that students attend at least one month of lessons, which consists of a minimum of 4 sessions. This allows for a more comprehensive understanding of our teaching approach and helps students acclimate to our methods and curriculum.
Tuition fees are payable via PayNow on the first day of each month.
Payment covers all lessons for that month, typically 4 or 5 sessions depending on the number of weeks.
If you wish to withdraw from classes, please notify our Admin at least two weeks in advance by emailing english.star.tuition@gmail.com.(english.star.tuition@gmail.com) Please note that tuition payments are non-refundable, and students are expected to attend all remaining lessons scheduled for the month once payment has been made.
